Fifteen representatives from UC Davis College Corps' community partner organizations recently attended the Campus Compact national conference in Denver.
Through College Corps, students who serve 450 hours — or 15 hours a week — over an academic year receive monthly stipends totaling $7,000 and, upon completion, a $3,000 education award.
The Sacramento Valley College Corps has awarded more than $66,000 in grants to 12 community partners, a significant investment in local organizations that often struggle with limited resources.
