Office of Research Communication Training
Effective communication is essential to maximizing the impact of your research. The ability to effectively transfer insight and inspire action requires understanding how to frame your message so that it resonates with your target audience and how to provide the right mechanisms to deliver it. The following recordings offer training sessions provided by the Scientists for Public Engagement and Knowledge (SPEAK) program.
Student Affairs Marketing and Communications
Student Affairs Marketing and Communications (SAMC) is here to provide strategic support or consultation for marketing, communications and branding projects across the Division of Student Affairs. If you need consultation or advice on any projects, channels or initiatives, you can sign up for individual office hours for design, content, social media, web or general outreach strategies using our office hours form.
SciComm Faculty Training Program
The SciComm program features a series of workshops, led by science communicators with experience talking about their research in effective and compelling ways. The workshops are designed to provide the tools necessary to improve the communication of science to the general public, scientists, and students alike.
